Welcome to the Wells Fargo Works for Small Business®: Neighborhood Renovation Program Contest
We believe that small businesses can make a big impact on our communities. That’s why Wells Fargo has teamed up with the National Urban League, the Greater Baltimore Urban League, Rebuilding Together Baltimore, and Gensler to host an essay contest that will award three Baltimore area businesses $10,000 each in renovations to the interior and/or exterior of their business.

THIS IS A JUDGED CONTEST. NO ENTRY FEE OR PURCHASE IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE. Wells Fargo Works for Small Business®: Neighborhood Renovation Program Contest starts on 4/15/16 Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on 5/15/16 ET and is sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank in collaboration with the National Urban League, Greater Baltimore Urban League (collectively the “Nonprofit”), Rebuilding Together Baltimore, and Gensler.
Three small business owners will be selected as Finalists by a panel of judges based on their completion of this Application form, photographs of their business, and responses to essay questions. Each Finalist will receive the opportunity to improve the appearance of their business and visual merchandising by working with Gensler and Rebuilding Together Baltimore. Wells Fargo donated a total of $30,000 (up to $10,000 per renovation) to the Nonprofit who is responsible for administering the funds for each renovation. Finalists will also receive business workshops. Once all the renovations are completed, one renovation will be selected by a separate panel of judges to determine the best design and the owner will receive a recognition award.
